Challenge

The swing productions dance school in Zurich needed a new website to better showcase their classes and events. The old website was outdated and built with divi, resulting in a slow and clunky user experience as well making it nearly impossible to maintain. The school wanted a modern, user-friendly website that would make it easy for users to find information about classes, events, and workshops, while still reflecting the vibrant and dynamic nature of swing dancing.

Solution

I've designed a new website in figma using the school's existing branding as a starting point. After several iterations and feedback from the client, I created a final design that met their needs and expectations.

The new design features a clean layout, with a focus on funneling users to sign up for classes and events. The website is custom built with WordPress, allowing for easy content management and updates. The site includes automated translation, a blog, and a calendar of events to keep users informed about upcoming classes and workshops. The Calendar and Upcoming events section directly calls the API of their booking system, ensuring that all information is up-to-date. The design is fully responsive, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices.

Outcome
